3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

• Upload or process data that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service's security
• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access or modify
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than humanly possible
• Violate any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights

• Maintaining backups of your original data
• Verifying the accuracy of cleaned/transformed data before use
• Compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

4. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements
• That results will be 100% accurate (AI suggestions should be reviewed)
• Availability of third-party AI services (Groq API)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos, are owned by or licensed to us.

5.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to data you upload. We do not claim ownership of your CSV files or processed data.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the Groq AI API for data analysis. Your use of our Service means you also agree to comply with Groq's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of third-party services.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 No Liability for Data Loss

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Loss of data or data corruption
• Inaccurate data transformations or AI suggestions
• Business losses resulting from use of the Service
• Decisions made based on processed data
• Third-party service failures or security breaches

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vertex and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
